ORIGENES
Leonardo Trincabelli es un músico y compositor Uruguayo afincado en Barcelona desde 2004, donde ha forjado su camino en el panorama musical. Su pasión por nuevos sonidos y su creatividad en la fusión de estilos e instrumentos lo ubican como una voz original de la industria. Sus raíces musicales latinas se entrelazan con la rica herencia africana de su tierra natal Montevideo, donde la música folklórica y la tradición africana se fusionan con influencias modernas que lo inspiran a crear su sonido distintivo.
TALENTO
Su capacidad para fusionar diversos géneros en su propio estilo evoca una amplia paleta de emociones.
Desde la melancolía de sus melodías minimalistas dibujadas en el Handpan o el Xaphoon, hasta la alegría y suavidad de su Voz acompañada de un tambor, pasando por ritmos y texturas dulces y ancestrales en el Ngoni o la Mbira; agregando siempre ingredientes artísticos con sutileza, que han dejado una huella imborrable en quienes han tenido la experiencia de escucharlo y verlo.
VISION
Paralelamente, en 2017 comenzó a compartir sus conocimientos impartiendo clases y talleres. La experiencia de estos años trabajando con personas sin experiencia y con capacidades especiales, sumada a su inquietud por dar sentido a su expresión artística, le lleva a investigar fuera de los parámetros convencionales y así crear conciencia sobre la importancia del sonido y la música en nuestra existencia. Es aquí donde Leo inicia su verdadera expansión creativa y espiritual, creando así sus líneas de expresión y trabajo actuales, pedagógicas, terapéuticas y artísticas.
HOY
Actualmente ayudando a las personas a encontrar su esencia única con un método de desbloqueo creativo, utilizando la intuición, la imaginación y la psicomotricidad a través del Handpan, un nuevo y orgánico instrumento creado originalmente para este propósito. El segundo es su proyecto acústico multiinstrumental, una experiencia musical inmersiva que brinda un espacio para la reflexión, la meditación profunda y la restauración, en una dinámica continua que recorre diferentes dimensiones sonoras.
TRAYECTORIA
En su carrera destacan once álbumes: Dos álbumes en solitario acompañado de un gran número de artistas de todo el mundo; Dos álbumes con IDEKKHIS, handpan-electro-experimental con Darren Dyke; cuatro álbumes de Etno-Fusión con Nara, Reshá, Maitri y Philip Vitali: y tres ensayos sobre el Handpan; además de haber tocado durante cuatro años con la orquesta sinfónica de Lyon dirigida por Philipe Fournier.

ORIGINS
Leonardo Trincabelli is an Uruguayan musician and composer based in Barcelona since 2004, where he has forged his path in the music scene. His passion for new sounds and his creativity in fusing styles and instruments places him as on original voice in the industry. His Latin musical roots intertwine with the rich African heritage of his homeland of Montevideo, where folk music and African tradition merge with modern influences inspiring him to the creation of his distinctive sound.
TALENT
His ability to merge diverse genres into his own style evokes a wide palette of emotions.
From the melancholy of his minimalist melodies drawn on the Handpan or the Xaphoon, to the joy and softness of his voice accompanied by a drum, passing through sweet and ancestral rhythms and textures in the Ngoni or the Mbira; always adding artistic ingredients with subtlety, which have left an indelible impression on those who have had the experience of listening to and seeing him.
VISION
At the same time, in 2017 he began to share his knowledge by giving classes and workshops. The experience of these years working with people without experience and with special abilities, added to his concern to give meaning to his artistic expression, leads him to investigate outside conventional parameters and thus create awareness about the importance of sound and music in our existence. It is here where Leo begins his true creative and spiritual expansion, thus creating his lines of current expression and work, pedagogical, therapeutic and artistic.
TODAY
Currently helping people find their unique escense with a creative unlocking method, using intuition, imagination and psychomotor skills through the Handpan, a new and organic instrument originally created for this purpose.
The second is his multi-instrumental acoustic project, an immersive musical experience providing a space for reflection, deep meditation and restoration, in a continuous dynamic that runs through different sound dimensions.

Eleven albums stand out in his career: Two solo albums accompanied by a large number of artists from around the world; Two albums with IDEKKHIS, handpan-electro-experimental with Darren Dyke; four Ethno-Fusion albums with Nara, Reshá, Maitri and Philip Vitali: and three essays on the Handpan; in addition to having played for four years with the Lyon symphony orchestra directed by Philipe Fournier.
